I have gotten on plan for a week or two but get off track the first time there is extra treats at work or a social event that involves food. When I was on plan before I could resist this food with out too much effort. I want to continue to lose weight to get to my goal weight. I know I will feel better and healthier if I get to my goal weight! I need help but I don't really know what kind of help I need. Any advice would be greatly apreciated!mydestinyhttp://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/mydestiny/Default.aspxA small gift....http://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/nicksmom99/Default.aspxhttp://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/nicksmom99/Archive/2012/2/4/915223.aspx2012-02-04T11:01:00Z2012-02-04T11:01:00ZI received a small gift today that I gave myself! Today when I put on my too tight shirt, it wasn't as tight anymore! And when I had to stand for a little while, my knees felt a little better! They weren't screaming in pain. Hmmmmm....could this be working? Could I finally be on the road to health? This is only my 12th day. I can't even imagine what my knees might feel like on day 120. It had given me some hope, where just a few weeks ago I had resigned myself to having knee pain the rest of my life. I feel so hopeful! I just needed that little bit of something good to make me realize I can get my life back!nicksmom99http://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/nicksmom99/Default.aspxSalsa Turkey Meatloafhttp://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/Aeris54/Default.aspxhttp://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/Aeris54/Archive/2012/2/4/915200.aspx2012-02-04T09:02:00Z2012-02-04T09:02:00Z
My husband LOVES this recipe and it's super easy to make!

Ingredients:

1 package of Ground Turkey, 93% lean, 16 oz.

Can of diced tomatoes, 1

1 Onion, medium, chopped

Fresh Cilantro, 4 tbsp, minced

1 Jalapeno Pepper, diced

3 cloves of garlic, minced

Parsley, 1 cup, minced

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

In a medium size bowl, mix the tomatoes, onion, cilantro, jalapeno pepper, and garlic together. Chili's with my Wife and Daughter and did not want ANY chips and salsa! :-)

I think that I finally got the bad stuff out of my system. It was grilled chicken on some lettuce with no dressing for me (and I felt stuffed)! Must be that 100 ounces of water I am drinking each day.

I am feeling good on the plan!

mtw2114http://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/mtw2114/Default.aspxMy First Posthttp://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/Aeris54/Default.aspxhttp://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/Aeris54/Archive/2012/2/4/915193.aspx2012-02-04T08:36:00Z2012-02-04T08:36:00ZI have to admit that I'm terrible at blogs of any type. I'm a 30 year old teacher from New York. I teach music, specifically instrumental music at a middle school. It's a job that takes a lot of patience, but I love it. I'm married to my high school sweetheart for 3 years (been together for 12 though) and he's awesome! I love cooking (and eating), fashion, and reality TV(I know, crazy stuff, but I love it!).

Why Medifast? Well, for one thing, this isn't my first time on this program. Before my wedding, I started Medifast and lost 30 pounds! It was great because the wedding pictures came out great. However, since that point I stopped the program and gained over 60 pounds. ::Sigh:: So, for one, I know it's a program that will work for me but this time I want to stick with it. Also, my sister has been on the program for awhile and has had huge successes.

The other reason is I need to get healthy. I'm 30 and very unhealthy. I was diagnosed with P.C.O.S. (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and Insulin Resistance and could soon become diabetic. What a shock to hear when you're young. All my grandparents are diabetic and that is just not the lifestyle I want to live. Also, if my husband and I ever want to have children, with the weight I have now with the PCOS, I have a high rate of miscarriages and/or infertility all together. Again, this is something I don't want to go through.

So, I will use this blog to help me document my progress and also, post some of my new "creations".

Happy Dieting!

Aeris54http://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/Aeris54/Default.aspxEnd of week 3 http://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/RiaBee/Default.aspxhttp://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/RiaBee/Archive/2012/2/4/915162.aspx2012-02-04T07:42:00Z2012-02-04T07:42:00Z
Nearing the last few hours of wk3. Everything has gone smoothly. It is exciting to watch my clothes fit in much more slimming ways! I am also learning how to manage afterwork activity -- like happy hours. I save the MF bars for those sorts of things.

Exercise has been up too. Finally found an elliptical that I like and that really pushes me. The other day my heartrate was up in the high 170s and low 180s. That's similar to what I get from running -- just without all the back inflammation. (Yesterday's gym time wasn't quite as fantastic.)

Still having problems with light-headedness when I stand up. I already have pretty low blood pressure, so I just have to be very careful. Haven't tumbled... yet!

Need to work on getting my 64oz of water/day. Some days I hit that, most days not. I'm not sure I believe that water makes the diet more effective -- but why not pretend anyway. :-)
RiaBeehttp://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/RiaBee/Default.aspxDay 4http://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/PinkBoxerGirl/Default.aspxhttp://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/PinkBoxerGirl/Archive/2012/2/4/915159.aspx2012-02-04T07:25:00Z2012-02-04T07:25:00ZToday has been great. Got a little hungry today but nothing that I couldn't handle. I can't wait to see some results- I know it is still too early but I am so excited at how this diet has change so many peoples lives. I am just so ready to be healthy and thin again. PinkBoxerGirlhttp://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/PinkBoxerGirl/Default.aspxsimilar storyhttp://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/carolroberts/Default.aspxhttp://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/carolroberts/Archive/2012/2/4/915150.aspx2012-02-04T06:43:00Z2012-02-04T06:43:00ZI saw a new commercial on the medifastnow.com site that MF & TSFL has put out in certain areas. In the commercial the lady is coming back into the country and shows her ID to the airport dude. He does a couple of double takes because she has lost so much weight. That happened to me as I drove to briskly through Ohio a while back. I had my drivers license picture taken the very month that I started MF. I had not had it redone and the police officer had a very hard time believing the license belonged to me. It took approx three trips to his car to decide to let me go. He then walked away and came back and said by the way GOOD JOB!! I had to promise to get my license updated as soon as I got home. I did. I posted the pictures of them side by side. It truly happens, not just in the commercials!!
Keep at it and change your life, become that new person!
carolrobertshttp://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/carolroberts/Default.aspxWHAT HAPPENED TO :http://www.lighterrecipes.com/p/medifast.htmlhttp://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/lucky13swing/Default.aspxhttp://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/lucky13swing/Archive/2012/2/4/915142.aspx2012-02-04T06:21:00Z2012-02-04T06:21:00Z
I only got to go to that website once, and didn't have a chance to make anything, and now it's gone????

anyone know what happened?
lucky13swinghttp://blogs.mymedifast.com/Blogs/lucky13swing/Default.aspx
